This is obviously going to be my best Lenten Season. But what are you giving up for Lent you may well ask? Simple. I’m giving up denying myself Jen’s culinary delights. That would be insane. Plus I’m convinced that good wholesome food will keep me healthier and happier between now and the scheduled date of my self transformation; my End of Life Celebration; my Death with Dignity,,,,,which will take place on Friday May 10th between the hours of 12 noon and 3 pm @ my senior housing home on Capitol Hill. And, yes, I’m making it open to anyone who wants to know more about this compassionate choice that Washington has made legal. Thank you Jen for helping me get the word out about “End of Life WASHINGTON “.Uncle Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00735073629688439133noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4566244110172460267.post-21055682194819983552016-05-04T21:11:37.191-07:002016-05-04T21:11:37.191-07:00Thank you so much Kelli, clearly I have been busy ...Thank you so much Kelli, clearly I have been busy and away from here for far too long. Oh ouch! She is still a morning person but as a teenager she'd really prefer to sleep in whenever possible:) We also have the same issue with weekend mornings... so I try to make it work whenever possible and not fret when life gets in the way, there will always be next weekend:)
Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03497193735167931697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4566244110172460267.post-82885998073363097242015-04-09T09:14:42.128-07:002015-04-09T09:14:42.128-07:00I love, love, LOVE all your words here! I'm tempted to try a week or two of rice and beans for dinner, now - baby and husband will love them, no problem, the bigger boy might struggle. But maybe he'd surprise me. Maybe the whole experience would. I'll report back!

I also LOVE a big weekend breakfast! We only have one day a week when we're all home and manage something delicious most weekends, despite a husband who wakes ravenous and two little ones who wake early. (I also appreciate the reminder that they day will come when this early waking will be a distant memory!)Lisahttp://coffeeinthewoodshed.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4566244110172460267.post-6914624167233827202015-03-20T22:28:36.941-07:002015-03-20T22:28:36.941-07:00Oh Kelli I hope you get a chance to raise chickens...Oh Kelli I hope you get a chance to raise chickens...
